Annual Muhammad Family MLK Celebration

In 2004 when my oldest was 4 and my youngest 2, I begrudgingly went to work on MLK Day.  For me it was just wrong on every level.  I came to love King Day as a student at Spelman College with the Annual March in downtown Atlanta.  This was reinforced during grad school at the University of Michigan which had a plethora of options to celebrate and educate on King Day.  January 19, 2004 was the LAST day I worked on MLK Day and I've been committed since then to creating the celebration that I wanted for my family, our neighbors and friends.

On this MLK Day in 2022 I expand the audience and invite you to join the celebration - Join us via Livestream @ 3pm.  Hope to see you there.
